Karnak Temple, famous landmark of Egypt
The dilapidated archeological remains of Soleb and its necropolis, north of the Nile River’s 3rd cataract in northern Sudan. Soleb is one of the largest archaeological sites in ancient Nubia, most of it abandoned at the mercy of the elements. The Nubian Desert is in the eastern region of the Sahara Desert, between the Nile and the Red Sea. The native inhabitants of the area are the Nubians, descendants of the ancient Nubian civilizations also known and the Black Pharaohs.
