Built between 1518 and 1589 by the architects Giacomo Della Porta and Domenico Fontana, the church was consecrated on 8 October 1589. Saint Urban's Abbey is a former Cistercian monastery in the municipality of Pfaffnau in the canton of Lucerne in Switzerland. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance.
