Diamond Valley Lake, located in Hemet, California is one of the largest water reservoirs in Southern California. After a wet winter the reservoirs levels have returned to a more normal level. Many travel to this area to see the super bloom of 2023 that surrounds the lake. The lake is a drinking water reservoir that is run by a metropolitan water company. It is a popular sight for tourists, especially during the springtime with all the varieties of wild flower on the surrounding hillsides.
