Unloading a seaplane at Vancouver International Airport after a wilderness camping trip in Tweedsmuir Provincial Park. Our Lake flying boat's useful load (fuel, 2 adults & gear) without the rear seat is 1060 pounds, giving us plenty of room for an inflatable boat. We towed the Lake flying boat (no retractable wheels) behind a 1965 Volvo Wagon to the seaplane ramp on the Fraser River.
