Marbled Shrimp Saron marmoratus, a species of cleaner shrimp, occurs in the tropical Indo-Pacific from the Red Sea south to Madagascar and Mozambique, east through the Persian Gulf, India, south east Asia through the southern Pacific, including Australia as far as Hawaii in a depth range from 1-17m over dead coral rubble. In 2013 Saron marmoratus was found off the coast of Lebanon, probably having reached the Mediterranean by Lessepsian migration through the Suez Canal from the Red Sea. The zebra moray, Gymnomuraena zebra, is a species of moray eel, the only member of the genus Gymnomuraena. It is found at reefs in the Indo-Pacific, and in the east Pacific from southern Baja California, Mexico to northern Colombia, including the Galapagos Islands.
