Hypoxylon fragiforme (Pers. ex Fr.) Kickx Beech Woodwart. Fruit body 0.1–1cm across, gregarious, hemispherical, bright salmon-pink at first becoming brick-red and later blackening, with a finely warted surface. Flesh hard, blackish. Asci cylindrical, 150 x 8µ. Spores dark brown, subfusiform, containing one to three oil drops, 11–15 x 5–7µ. Habitat dead beech. Season late summer to early spring. Common. Not edible. Found In Europe (source R. Phillips).\n\nThis is a quite common Fungus on dead Branches of the Beech Tree (Fagus sylvatica).

Plasmodiocarp fruit bodies of a slime mold, or myxomycete, Hemitrichia serpula on a rotten touchwood. Slime moulds are special organisms that gather from many microscopic unicellular amoebae.
Tremella mesenterica (common names include the yellow brain, the golden jelly fungus, the yellow trembler, and witches' butter is a common jelly fungus in the Tremellaceae family of the Agaricomycotina. It is most frequently found on dead but attached and on recently fallen branches, especially of angiosperms, as a parasite of wood decay fungi in the genus Peniophora.
Orange Peel Fungus (Aleuria aurantia) is a widespread ascomycete fungus in the order Pezizales.

Phyllotopsis nidulans, commonly known as the mock oyster or the orange oyster, is a species of fungus in the family Tricholomataceae, and the type species of the genus Phyllotopsis. It is widely dispersed in temperate zones of the Northern Hemisphere, where it grows on decaying wood. The fungus fruit body consists of a fan-shaped, light orange fuzzy cap up to 8 cm wide that grows singly or in overlapping clusters. On the cap underside are crowded orange gills. Mock oyster mushrooms have a strong, unpleasant odor, and are regarded as inedible though nonpoisonous.\nTaxonomy:\nThe mock oyster was first described scientifically in 1798 by Christian Hendrik Persoon as Agaricus nidulans. The specific epithet nidulans means \
