The cabezon (Scorpaenichthys marmoratus) is a large species of sculpin native to the Pacific coast of North America. California Coast. Cottidae, Actinopterygii; Scorpaeniformes.
(Porichthys notatus) This fish is also known as the Singing Toadfish, Singing Fish, Grunting Fish and Midshipman.    The scientific name Porichythys  refers to pores and Midshipman refers to the pattern of luminous spots along the body resembling buttons, like on a naval uniform.
