Moçamedes, Namibe Province, Angola: The Port of Moçâmedes (aka Port of Namibe) is strategically located on the banks of the bay of Namibe, an indentation along the Atlantic Ocean coast. The port, administered by the Angolan government through the state company Empresa Portuária do Namibe, serves as a vital outlet for cargo transported via the Moçâmedes railway from the Cuando-Cubango Province.
