Faded and weathered mural of the female deity Tara, appearing on a wall at a temple-ruin of the mysterious Guge Kingdom, in far-west Tibet. The White Tara mural has an eye embedded in each palm, and a third vertical eye seen in the forehead. The Guge Kingdom is thought to have been operational in the 10th and 11th centuries. This Kashmiri-style mural is a rare artform for Tibet.
