Icelanders are proud of their close ties to nature, and dedicated to preserving this natural wealth through responsible conservation.

The cruise ship was built in the Meyer Werft in Papenburg in Germany.\nHer keel was laid in June 2019 and she was delivered in September 2020. In response to travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Saga has postponed its inaugural cruise to May 4, 2021.
