World Trade Centre memorial ground zero waterfall feature.\nThe National September 11 Memorial & Museum (also known as the 9/11 Memorial & Museum) is part of the World Trade Center complex, in New York City, created for remembering the September 11 attacks of 2001. The memorial is located at the World Trade Center site, the former location of the Twin Towers that were destroyed during the September 11 attacks. The designer of the Memorial is Israeli-American architect Michael Arad of Handel Architects. Arad worked with landscape-architecture firm Peter Walker and Partners on the design to create two square reflecting pools in the center marking where the Twin Towers stood. A dedication ceremony commemorating the tenth anniversary of the attacks was held at the memorial on September 11, 2011, and it opened to the public the following day. The museum was dedicated on May 15, 2014 Six days later, the museum opened to the public.

One crew member is raising two maritime flags, while the other watches or assists, on the bridge of USS Canberra (LCS 30), an Independence Class combat ship of the US Navy which is docked at Garden Island in Sydney Harbour.  She was in port for her commissioning ceremony on 22 July 2023.  As part of the ceremony, her captain was presented with a kangaroo insignia attached to all ships of the Royal Australian Navy, but decorated in the colours and design of the Stars and Stripes.  That insignia has been attached to the ship and visible on the right.  The name of the ship and serial number is visible on the orange life ring.  A large, padded chair is visible on the bridge. October 4, 2023: El Ferrol, Galicia, Spain. The Blas de Lezo (F-103) is a frigate of the Spanish Navy from the Álvaro de Bazán class, launched at the Izar shipyards in Ferrol and active since December 2004. It was named in honor of Blas de Lezo, an 18th-century lieutenant general and hero of Cartagena de Indias.
The communications masts and structures of HMAS Canberra are surrounded by scaffolding when docked at Garden Island naval base in Sydney Harbour.
