The flight deck curve of HMAS Canberra, one of two Amphibious Assault Ships of the Royal Australian Navy. She is docked at Garden Island, Sydney Harbour. The colourful objects under to the Australian flag on the flight deck of HMAS Canberra are ship's flags to be deployed over the ship for the public open day the next day, as part of Navy Week. The crown on top of the flagpole means the flotilla commander is based on this ship. One of her six 12.7mm machine guns has the barrel uncovered and pointing out in the direction of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
