USS Midway is an aircraft carrier of the United States Navy
The flight deck curve of HMAS Canberra, one of two Amphibious Assault Ships of the Royal Australian Navy.   She is docked at Garden Island, Sydney Harbour, in preparation for an open day to the public during Navy Week, the first open day since the Covid pandemic.  One of her six 12.7mm machine guns has the barrel uncovered and pointing out in the direction of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
