Greenock, Scotland, UK - 9th July, 2011: Seven young sailors stowing a sail onto a yard of the Colombian Tall Ship ARC Gloria after the first leg, from Waterford to Greenock, of the Tall Ships Race 2011. The ARC Gloria is a a training ship owned and operated by the Colombian government.

Every morning at 8am the Australian flag is unfurled in a ceremony on the flight deck of HMAS Canberra, one of two Canberra Class amphibious assault ships of the Royal Australian Navy.  She is docked at Garden Island, Sydney Harbour. Having unfurled the flag, the sailor steps back, stands at attention and salutes the flag. TCG Anadolu, built in Sedef Shipyard in Istanbul, is 230 meters (754 feet) in length and 32 m (105 ft) in width, and has an area of 9,200 square meters (99,028 sq-ft).\n\nSix helicopters can land or take off simultaneously, while uncrewed combat aerial vehicles can also be deployed at the ship's flight deck.\n\nThe ship, with a full-fledged hospital and two operation rooms, can host around 1,200 staff.\n\nIt has a capacity to carry 13 tanks, 27 marine assault vehicles, six armored personnel carriers, 15 trailers, and 33 various vehicles.
