They are docked at Garden Island, Sydney Harbour, in preparation for an open day to the public during Navy Week, the first open day since the Covid pandemic. Malé, Maldives: Coast Guard vessel moored, T702 Iskandhar fast patrol boat - Coastal surveillance vessel under the National Security Service - Colombo class Ultra Fast Attack Craft (UFAC), built in Sri Lanka by Colombo Dockyard Limited, using and Israeli design, the boats are meant for a variety of naval missions from off-shore coastal patrol missions to high-speed, high-maneuver littoral warfare. The Maldivian Coast Guard is the naval or maritime arm of the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF). As the Maldives does not have a navy, the Coast Guard also functions as such.
