Houston, United States - April 13, 2023: Detail of the roof of the Houston Astrodome, known as the Eighth Wonder of the World when it was opened in 1965. This shot taken from above at an altitude of about 600 feet from an orbiting helicopter. The Astrodome was the world's first domed sports stadium and was home to the Houston Astros, the Houston Oilers and the Houston Rodeo. This publicly owned building has sat completely abandoned and unused since 2008 and is slated for a major taxpayer funded renovation to potentially create a domed city park in upcoming years.
