A Greater Ani (Crotophaga major) in Panama.  The three species of anis are New World cuckoos in the family Cuculidae.  This bird is a partial brood parasite, in that it builds its own nest, but about 15% of the time lays its egg in another species’ nest, most often caciques and oropendolas.
