Takht-e Rostam (Takht-e Rustam) is a stupa monastery in Samangan Province, Afghanistan. The stupa carved from rock surmounted by a harmika. Takht e Rostam is between Mazar i Sharif and Pol e Khomri, Afghanistan
It is located in Hoşap (Güzelsu) on the Van-Hakkari highway, in the Gürpınar district of Van. This historical castle was built during the Urartian (Urartu) period. The outer wall of the castle resembled the back of a stegosaurus dinosaur. It will be restored soon.
