Deep-sky astrophotograph of NGC 281, the Pacman Nebula, captured from Munich with a Seestar S50 telescope. This emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia lies about 9,200 light-years away and contains the open star cluster IC 1590, whose young, hot stars illuminate the surrounding hydrogen gas. The dark dust lanes, visible in the center, create the nebula’s characteristic “mouth” shape that inspired its nickname. Despite urban light pollution, the image reveals excellent contrast and structure, showcasing modern compact astrophotography technology.

The Pacman Nebula (NGC 281) is a bright emission nebula and H-alpha region located in the constellation Cassiopeia, 9500 light years away from Earth. Amateur picture taken with professional CMOS camera and refractor telescope (800mm, f/6.95), image consists of: Ha: 72 x 300s, OIII: 55 x 300s, SII: 83 x 300s. Total exposure time: 10,5h, HSTpalette image.

Astrophotograph of the open star cluster NGC 957 in the constellation Perseus, captured with a Seestar S50 telescope from Munich. NGC 957 is a young cluster located near the famous Double Cluster (h and χ Persei), approximately 7,300 light-years away. The image reveals dozens of hot blue and white stars embedded in the faint nebulosity of the Perseus Arm of the Milky Way. Despite urban observing conditions, this deep-sky photo shows impressive structure and color contrast, making it ideal for use in astronomy education, astrophysics visuals, and space-themed art.

Astrophotograph of Messier 51 (M51), the Whirlpool Galaxy, captured from Munich, Germany, using a Seestar S50 smart telescope. The image shows the grand-design spiral structure of M51a interacting with its smaller companion galaxy NGC 5195. Located about 31 million light-years away in the constellation Canes Venatici, the Whirlpool Galaxy is one of the most striking examples of galactic interaction and spiral arm formation. Despite light pollution, the spiral arms, galactic core, and companion are clearly visible in this deep-sky exposure.
