Deep-sky astrophotography of Messier 35 (M35), a rich open star cluster in Gemini, captured from Munich South with a Seestar S50. At lower right, the tight, distant companion cluster NGC 2158 appears as a compact, grainy glow—often mistaken for a globular cluster—set in a dense star field on a dark night sky.

NGC 1788 is a reflection nebula in the constellation of Orion. It is rather sharply defined on its southwest perimeter where it is flanked by the dark nebula known as LDN 1616. LDN 1616 is apparently part of NGC 1788. Captured form my backyard.

NGC 6281 is an open cluster of stars in the constellation Scorpius. It was not included in the Messier or Caldwell catalogues of nebulous objects, but it is the brightest such cluster in the constellation to be left out of both. Data from Telescope Live.

Okayama, Japan - April 11, 2024: Kōraku-en (後楽園, Kōrakuen) is a Japanese garden located in Okayama, Okayama Prefecture. It is one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan. It was built in 1700 by Ikeda Tsunamasa, lord of Okayama. Renchi-ken Rest House is one of the buildings that escaped damage during the Second World War and still treasures original parts as they were when the garden was constructed, including the stone bridge stretching across the pond, the small island with a dry garden, and the circular window of the 6-tatami mats tea room.
