Minaret of Jam, Ghor Province in Afghanistan. The Jam minaret is a UNESCO site in a remote part of Central Afghanistan. The Minaret of Jam is an outstanding example of ancient Islamic architecture.

Originally built in 1778, Emin Minaret stands at Munnar Village, 2 km east of Turpan. It was built under the leadership of the then Turpan’s Duke – Eein Hoja to repay the central government of the Qing Dynasty (1644 – 1912) for the grace and to express his sincerity towards the God.

Built in 1320, this minaret is located in the Konye Urgench archeological site in Turkmenistan
