Saint Pierre Island, Saint Pierre and Miquelon: Fucus vesiculosus, commonly known as bladderwrack, is a species of brown algae found along the coasts of the North Atlantic Ocean, including the shores of Europe and North America. It is characterized by flattened, branching fronds with distinctive air-filled bladders that help the algae float and optimize sunlight exposure for photosynthesis. Bladderwrack typically grows on rocky substrates in the intertidal zone, where it plays an important ecological role by providing habitat and food for various marine organisms. It has also been used historically in traditional medicine and as a source of iodine. Scientifically studied for its bioactive compounds, Fucus vesiculosus is relevant in both environmental and biomedical contexts.

It can be found in Europe. \nThe wingspan is 28–32 millimeters.
