Kocaeli, Turkey - July 7, 2020: Old Turkish navy Force ship representing on sekapark in Kocaeli, Turkey.
One crew member is raising two maritime flags, while the other watches or assists, on the bridge of USS Canberra (LCS 30), an Independence Class combat ship of the US Navy which is docked at Garden Island in Sydney Harbour. She was in port for her commissioning ceremony on 22 July 2023. As part of the ceremony, her captain was presented with a kangaroo insignia attached to all ships of the Royal Australian Navy, but decorated in the colours and design of the Stars and Stripes. That insignia has been attached to the ship and visible on the right. The name of the ship and serial number is visible on the orange life ring. A large, padded chair is visible on the bridge. This image was taken on a cloudy afternoon on 29 July 2023.

A close up photo of the assortment of tools and equipment which are stored on the side of armoured tanks. \n\nThe box may contain tools or servicing materials for the tank, there are mounting hooks and blocks which often carry spare track links for repairs in the field, and more modern machines often have mounting points for Reactive Armour. The steel cable can be used for towing vehicles, or for pulling wreckage and blockages from the vehicle's path. A tank needs to carry all the things it might need in the field with it at all times, but as the inner compartment is often cramped or filled with combat necessary materials, everything else is usually stored externally.\n\nModern tanks have developed to an unimaginable degree from their first inception in 1916, however the premise remains the same: An armoured cabin to protect the crew, all-terain caterpillar tracks to help navigate unforgiving terrain, and intimidating firepower to overcome the enemy.
