Huge waves, called “Boomers” by locals,  crash into the rocky Oregon Coast  shoreline sending a spray more than 100 feet in the air near Coos Bay during a mid-December 2018  Pacific storm. Waves typically range in height from 20- to 30 feet along the southern Oregon Coast during the stormy season (November-March) creating spectacular vistas. Spray often reaches more than a 100-feet in height.
