Anmer is a small village near Queen Elizabeth II’s country home, Sandringham House. In Anmer village is the country home of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Anmer Hall. The sign was unveiled in 2007 by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh and has a Roman soldier on one side, with this side showing a Boy Scout: it is thought that the Iceni fought the Roman army nearby and the Queen had allowed a Scout jamboree to be held there in 1957.

St Mary Magdalene parish church and graveyard in Debenham, Suffolk, eastern England, on a blustery spring day. Debenham is a pretty village, popular with tourists, many of whom who are interested in English history.
Durham Cathedral is a Norman building constructed between 1093 and 1133 in the Romanesque style. It was founded as a monastic cathedral built to house the shrine of St Cuthbert, replacing an earlier church constructed in his honour. Durham’s architectural value lies in the fact that it is the oldest surviving building with a stone vaulted ceiling of such a large scale. This may not seem remarkable today, but developing the know-how to roof large buildings with stone rather than wood shaped the course of European architecture from then on.
Despite the constantly changeable weather, wild flowers and cultivated blooms appear in a multitude of colours to brighten the dramatic landscape of the Somerset Levels and steep ridges of the outdoors countryside with the occasional man made construction such as the Hood Monument to mark the scenery during summer in Somerset, England, UK
