Oxford, England - September 28, 2016: The Bridge of Sighs, connecting two parts of New College, is one of the most elegant and widely recognized architectural symbols of the ancient University of Oxford.
St George's Square in the historic English market town of Stamford in Lincolnshire with the Grade 1 Listed, St George's Church just behind the tree on the left. Like these buildings here, the town has many historic buildings, including 17th and 18th century Lincolnshire limestone stone buildings and additionally many older timber-framed buildings - and five medieval parish churches. The town was declared a conservation area in 1967 and was proclaimed by author Sir Walter Scott as 'the finest stone town in England'. Largely unspoilt by modern building developments, Stamford is frequently chosen as a film location by many movie directors. It was chosen in 2013 in a Sunday Times survey as 'Britain's top place to live'.
