Powerscourt Waterfall is located in the beautiful Powerscourt Estate near the foothills of the Wicklow Mountains. The 7th Viscount Powerscourt established a deer park and in 1858 successfully introduced the Japanese Sika deer to the estate. Birdwatching enthusiasts will be on the lookout for some of the locals, the chaffinch, cuckoo, raven and the willow warbler.\n\nThe waterfall is a favourite destination for family picnics and visitors are also welcome to enjoy a barbecue. There is a vast amount of space to keep children entertained and a playground for younger children at Powerscourt Waterfall, one of County Wicklow’s most beautiful natural attractions.
