The Forbidden City snow
Beijing, China - April 14, 2012: Sun shines on the Tiananmen, the Gate of Heavenly Peace, Beijing, China. As the entrance to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen is seen as the symbol of Beijing and China, and is also heavily related to the concepts of the Chinese government and policies.
Early morning in spring in the Jingshan Park (located north of the Forbidden City in Beijing, China). The area used to be part of the Forbidden City but is now a separate public park. In the middle of the park is Jingshan Hill (or Prospect Hill) with the Wanchun Pavilion (or Pavilion of Everlasting Spring or Ten Thousand Spring Pavilion). The picture shows the view looking south from the Jingshan Hill towards the Forbidden City.
