The Wiener Riesenrad (the giant Viennese wheel in German) or simply Riesenrad is a Ferris wheel located in the large amusement park inside the Prater, the most famous park in Vienna, which was once a Habsburg hunting reserve.

The Wiener Riesenrad, or simply Riesenrad, is a 64.75-metre tall Ferris wheel at the entrance of the Prater amusement park in Leopoldstadt, the 2nd district of Austria's capital Vienna. It is one of Vienna's most popular tourist attractions, and symbolises the district as well as the city for many people.

Ferris wheel (Wiener Riesenrad) in Prater amusement park, Vienna, Austria
24th September 2022: The Metallic tower of Fourviere, in the French city of Lyon. The 101m steel tower was built in 1892 and completed in 1894.  It was an observation tower until 1953. But is now a television tower with a broadcasting antenna on top of the tower. It is situated in the Fourviere district of the city, which has UNESCO World Heritage status.
