A visit at a studio where artists are painting and drawing mandalas in Kathmandu. Mandala means circle in Sanskrit and is meant to be a meditational map. A really sacred experience to be there and feel the special atmosphere

The Namdroling Monastery, popularly referred to as ‘The Golden Temple’ is one of the largest Tibetan settlements in India. Located in Bylakuppe, about 5 kms from Kushalanagara in Kodagu district, The Golden Temple complex is home to about 16000 refugees and 600 monks .

Wesak Day marks three major events in Buddha’s life, namely his birth, his enlightenment and his achievement of Nirvana. The Wesak Day parade usually makes its way with beautiful Buddha’s chariot decorated with flowers and many parade floats through the central of the cities. There are thousand of devotees participated in the procession and some walk along with the chariots, chant mantras, and other attendees watch the procession from the roadside, receiving blessings from the passing floats.
