Fuji-yoshida, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan-April 16, 2019:\nThe photo shows Mt Fuji and Five-story Pagoda during cherry blossom season as viewed from Arakurayama Sengen Park, located in Fuji-yoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture. \nArakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, which is located at the foot of the park, was erected in 705, and is one of about 1,300 Sengen shrines which were erected in honor of the deity of Mt Fuji. Mt Fuji is UNESCO World Heritage site. The town below is Fuji-yoshida City.

The park is open to the public free of charge.\nThe pagoda was constructed in 1959 to commemorate those who died in the World War II.\nYou have to go up 398 steps to the pagoda from the foot of the hill, where Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine is located.\nArakura Fuji Sengen Shrine was erected in 705, and is one of about 1,300 Sengen shrines which were erected in honor of the deity of Mt. Fuji. This place is very popular among tourists from both Japan and overseas for its wonderful view, combining typical Japanese symbols of Mt. Fuji, Pagoda and cherry blossom.
