Minster Lovell Hall, a ruined 15th century Oxfordshire manor house beside the River Windrush.\n\nConstruction began in the 1430s by William, Baron of Lovell who was one of the richest men in England. After several changes of hands the hall was abandoned and eventually demolished in the 1700s, it’s now part of English Heritage’s collection of sites.
