January 27th 2024, City of York, North Yorkshire, England, UK. The picturesque Holy Trinity Church, is tucked away behind the main streets of the City of York, where it has stood since the late 12th century. \n\nIt can now be seen in its fascinating Post Reformation splendour, by any passers by, who are free to walk in and admire its fascinating and ancient architecture, this without any entrance fee charge being required. \n\nIn this picture, the lower tier of the church's pulpit containing a chair can be seen, where lay persons or the vicar, may have had a more intimate exchange of words with the congregation, whilst seated directly opposite them and at closer quarters.\n\nPhotography is positively encouraged, this confirmed when I asked the kindly church warden there for permission to shoot.

However, it is very ancient, having been constructed in the second half of the 15th century.
