The Fontaine Saint-Sulpice (also known as the Fontaine de la place Saint-Sulpice or as the Fontaine des Orateurs-Sacrés) is a monumental fountain located in Place Saint-Sulpice in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.

The first monument to “Empress” Maria Theresa to be erected in Austria was placed in Klagenfurt at the west end of Neuer Platz square in 1765 in place of the equestrian statue of Leopold I. The original hard lead statue of artistic value was replaced by a bronze sculpture in 1873 and the monument was relocated to the east end of the square in 1972 (after building the underground car park).
Unveiled in 1900, funded by philanthropist Henry Rosenberg (1824-1893) upon his death willed to the city of Galveston, fifty thousand dollars for this monument to be built to honor the heroes of the victory of the Texas Revolution in 1836.  Lady Victory stands atop the monument holding a wreath stretched toward the north into the state of Texas.  This bronze sculpture was the second tallest at the time next to the William Penn sculpture atop Independence Hall in Philadelphia.
