Knowth, Newgrange / Crewbane, County Meath, Ireland: Knowth burial mound (in Irish Cnobha), the site of a Neolithic passage tomb in the Boyne Valley. There is some evidence that activity continued at the Knowth site into the late Neolithic and Bronze Age. The site belongs to the tomb complex of Brú na Bóinne. It lies approximately 1  km northwest of Newgrange, and 2  km west of Dowth. UNESCO world heritage site.
Newgrange, Ireland - May 23, 2015:  A guide stands at the entrance to the Newgrange mound passage tomb, constructed around 3,000 B.C.  The passage leads to a burial chamber 59 feet from the entrance built of 200,000 tons of mortarless stone that remains watertight to this day.

Unstan Chambered Cairn was built about 5,000 years ago as a communal burial place. Its an unusual example of a stalled cairn, with internal divisions or stalls, and a single side cell.
