Goblin Valley State Park is one the most popular attractions in Utah's San Rafael Swell, and the highly eroded red rock sandstone make it a popular hiking area. These two stubby hoodoos at Goblin State Park stick close together while braving the desert and crowd of rock formations around them. I used long exposure in this shot to capture the motion of the sky over these alien-looking rocks. As these spires stay still, the clouds move fast over them. However, it could also be interpreted that these stone aliens are moving so fast in the sky that the clouds around them are blurring.
