Randolph's Leap is an SSSI and area of countryside in Moray, Scotland. The area surrounds the River Findhorn and is actually named after the point at the river where the sheer rock banks are closest, where according to legend Thomas Randolph, later Earl of Moray, was pursuing a Comyn, who leaped to the other side and escaped back to his castle. The Comyn castle fell and the lands were granted by King Robert to Randolph. The name gradually changed from Comyn's Leap to Randolph's Leap.

Ireland’s highest waterfall at 121m, it’s a popular tourist attraction near Enniskerry at only 5km from the main estate.\nPowerscourt Waterfall is a beautiful natural attraction set in the foothills of the Wicklow Mountains near the town of Enniskerry. Only 5km from Powerscourt House and Gardens, the waterfall is Ireland’s highest at 121m and has attracted visitors for over 200 years.\n\nDriving from the gate lodge towards the waterfall, visitors are surrounded by beech, oak, larch and pine trees, some of which were planted over 200 years ago. There are giant redwood or sequoia trees, native to California, that were planted at Powerscourt sometime after 1860.\n\nPowerscourt Waterfall, which flows into the Dargle River, is a haven for wildlife. The 7th Viscount Powerscourt established a deer park and in 1858 successfully introduced the Japanese Sika deer to the estate. Birdwatching enthusiasts will be on the lookout for some of the locals, the chaffinch, cuckoo, raven and the willow warbler.\n\nThe waterfall is a favourite destination for family picnics and visitors are also welcome to enjoy a barbecue. There is a vast amount of space to keep children entertained and a playground for younger children at Powerscourt Waterfall, one of County Wicklow’s most beautiful natural attractions.
