Mural or wall painting inside the famous City Palace, a complex situated in the city of Udaipur, Rajasthan. It was built over a period of nearly 400 years, with contributions from several rulers of the Mewar dynasty. Construction began in 1553, started by Maharana Udai Singh II of the Sisodia Rajput family as he shifted his capital from the erstwhile Chittor to the new found city of Udaipur. The palace is located on the east bank of Lake Pichola and has several palaces built within its complex.

Havelis were the rich mansions of indian merchants. Mandawa is a little town in Rajasthan that was on silk road and have many richly decorated havelis built roughly 100 years ago. This is an old Haveli fresco representing a Maharaja with his court.
This fortress started off as merely a mud-brick fort back in the 11th century, and for the following 500 years, it was destroyed and rebuilt again and again as Mongols, Timur, and Pashtuns invaded the region.\n\nThe fort was completely rebuilt in the 17th century during the Mughal Empire, damaged again afterwards by the Sikhs and the British, and today, it is partially restored.
