The road, which takes its name from Pietro Vannucci, a painter born in Città della Pieve and famous with the nickname Il Perugino, develops between imposing and important buildings: Palazzo dei Priori (on the ground floor the Collegio del Cambio, frescoed by Perugino, and the Collegio della Mercanzia), Palazzo dei Notari (15th century), House of Baldo degli Ubaldi (15th century), church of Sant'Isidoro (deconsecrated), Palazzo Donini (1716).

The beautiful facade of the Abbey Church of San Pietro in the medieval heart of Assisi in Umbria, central Italy. Built in Romanesque and Gothic style in the 10th century by the Benedictines, the facade was made of red stone from the nearby Monte Subasio. It has a rectangular shape with three entrance portals and three rose windows. The large central portal is surmounted by an arch and a larger rose window. Famous for being the city of San Francesco and Santa Chiara (St Francis and St Clare), Assisi is recognized in the world as a place of spirituality and peace between all peoples and different confessions. The Umbria region, considered the green lung of Italy for its wooded mountains, is characterized by a perfect integration between nature and the presence of man, in a context of environmental sustainability and healthy life. In addition to its immense artistic and historical heritage, Umbria is famous for its food and wine production and for the high quality of the olive oil produced in these lands. A suggestive and idyllic view of Piazza IV Novembre with the Fontana Maggiore and the Duomo di San Lorenzo in the historical and artistic heart of Perugia, capital of the Umbria region, in central Italy. On the right, the Fontana Maggiore (Mayor Fountain), built in 1275 as a terminal of the medieval aqueduct, is composed of two polygonal marble basins concentric decorated with bas-reliefs sculpted by Nicola and Giovanni Pisano with symbols and scenes of the agrarian tradition and feudal culture, the months of the year with the zodiac signs and the liberal arts, some characters from the Bible and from the history of ancient Rome. In the background, the side façade of the Duomo di San Lorenzo (Cathedral of Saint Lawrence), built in Gothic style starting from 1345 and completed in 1490 and characterized by its splendid pink marbles, and the Loggia di Braccio, built in 1423.
