This is a view of the passenger side footwell of one such vehicle.\n\nThis image was taken at an outdoor event over the weekend of 3rd June 2023, where reenactors, living historians, and members of the public can come to experience what life was like during the second world war, with live demonstrations, battle reenactments, and static displays from all over the world.

Luanda, Angola: The Armscor Buffel (Buffalo) is a South African mine-protected troop carrier, developed in the 1970s for use in counterinsurgency operations. Known for its rugged design and V-shaped hull, the Buffel was engineered to withstand landmine explosions and provide enhanced survivability for its occupants. It typically carries up to ten troops in addition to a driver and is equipped with light armor to protect against small arms fire. The Buffel was widely used by the South African Defense Force (SADF) and became a symbol of South Africa's military presence during the Border War in Namibia and Angola. Its design influenced the development of subsequent mine-resistant, ambush protected (MRAP) vehicles around the world - on public display outside Sao Miguel fortress.

Steel statue has lengh 62 m (203 ft) tall upon the museum building with the overall structure measuring 102 m (335 ft) and weighing 560 tons. It was opened in 1981. In bottom part is located Museum of the Great Patriotic War. This place is very popular among tourists.

This is the driver's control panel of a British four wheel drive vehicle from world war two. A very simple bolt on-bolt off modular build means maintenance and swapping parts out is quick and easy in the field, and large buttons and switches are easy to operate in a hurry, or while wearing gloves. \n\nThe large steering wheel is because no vehicles at the time had power steering, so a larger wheel circumference allowed to drive to steer easier.\n\nThis image was taken at an outdoor event over the weekend of 11th-13th August 2023, where reenactors, living historians, and members of the public can come to experience what life was like during the second world war, with live demonstrations, battle reenactments, and static displays from all over the world.
Up until 2000 Stevns Fort was an important NATO post overlooking the Baltic Sea during the cold war. Today it is converted into a museum open to the public.
