Rhyolite is a type of extrusive igneous rock characterised by its light color, high silica content, and fine-grained texture. It forms from the rapid cooling of magma on the Earth's surface and is often associated with volcanic eruptions. Rhyolite is rich in silica (SiO₂), typically containing more than 70% silica. It is composed mainly of quartz and feldspar, with minerals like biotite, hornblende, and pumice often present.

The Sainte-Victoire mountain is a limestone massif in the South of France, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Located east of Aix-en-Provence, it has enjoyed international notoriety in part thanks to the sixty works of the painter Paul Cézanne of which it is the object. Linaria can be either hardy annuals or perennials and vary in height from 15 cm to 1.2 m. They have lance shaped leaves and carry flowers that are similar to those of snapdragon. They bloom from the end of spring through to the middle of summer and have flowers of many colors including orange, purple, blue and yellow.\nSome of the common names for Linaria include Toadflax, Baby Snapdragon, Spurred snapdragon and Butter and Eggs.
