Hobyar Mosque was built by Hodja Hobyar in 1473. However, it became dilapidated in time and when the New Post Office was built, it was rebuilt by Architect Vedat Bey in a square plan with a cut corner. The mosque has a single dome and is decorated with tiles. It has nothing to do with its old structure. The mosque, which has an interior area of 150 m², has a minaret with a single balcony.
Tophane Fountain is the fountain located in Tophane Square in Istanbul. It was built by the Ottoman Sultan Mahmud I in 1732.
It was built in 1904 by Hacı Adil Bey, one of the Governors of Edirne, in memory of his son who died at a young age, and is today the best preserved fountain structure in the city center of Edirne.
