Bay Nui Cow Racing Festival is a traditional festival of the Khmer people in An Giang, Southern Vietnam. The festival is held in the 7th lunar month every year. Bay Nui bull racing takes place on a racetrack about 100m long. Each bull racing team will have 2 bull drivers and 1 person walking. During the race, the bull driver will hold a wooden stick about 1 meter long to hit the bull's butt to increase speed. Bay Nui Bull Racing Festival is meant to honor and preserve the traditions of the Khmer people. This is also an opportunity for locals and tourists to enjoy cultural, culinary and entertainment activities together.

August 29, 2024, Feni, Chittagong, Bangladesh: A brickyard and a car are half submerged in flood water in Chanpur area of Chagalnaia upazila of Feni district of Chittagong division of Bangladesh. At least 52 people have been killed, a total of 43 upazilas in several districts of Bangladesh have been affected by the flash floods and about 5.2 million people were affected by the floods.
