Drone view of the abandoned Hojerup Church at Stevns Klint in Denmark . The church dates back to 1250 but it was was abandoned in the early 20th century after the cliffs below started to fall into the sea, but it is maintained and it is now  a popular tourist spot. A new church was built a couple of hundred meters away.

Alderney island, Guernsey Bailiwick: Fort Tourgis and dirt road along Clonque bay - now in ruins, Fort Tourgis was an extensive fortress northwest of Saint Anne. The coastal fort , completed in 1855, was planned to accommodate a garrison of 346 men and was originally the largest of the Victorian-era forts on Alderney. It was also planned to mount 33 heavy cannons in five batteries along with four 13” mortars. The Victorian forts on Alderney were intended to defend the island and its harbor, which was intended to accommodate a British fleet that would counterbalance the naval power of France in the English Channel.
Hamilton, Bermuda- September 8, 2023: Royal Naval Dockyard was once Britain's largest naval base outside the United Kingdom. Built in 1809, played a role in the defense of the Atlantic Ocean. The fort consisted of eight buildings and the commissioner's house. The historical buildings are largely abandoned.
