One of my favorite places. Combine nature with farmland history and you have me. 71,000-acre park in northwest Michigan stretches 35 miles along Lake Michigan's eastern shore. Freshwater sand dunes is the world's such system. Lake Michigan's water color appears like the Caribbean but without the salt.
