This color image despict a mural of the Italian, Mucengo, under the vaults dating from 1828: The Baptism of Jesus Christ by St. John the Baptist. Around 1853, Benedictine monks arrived in the territory of Megève to raise a priory dedicated to St. John the Baptist. The church is enlarged in the 14th century.
