Wackerbarth castle in Radebeul near Dresden, built between 1728 and 1829, is the seat of the Saxon state winery - Germany.
The Wilhelma is a zoological-botanical garden in the Stuttgart district of Bad Cannstatt. With over one million visitors annually, it is one of the most popular zoological gardens in Germany. Today, Wilhelma shows around 11,000 animals from all over the world on around 30 hectares. Photography from 19th century.

Blenheim Palace is a monumental stately home situated in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England. It is the seat of the Dukes of Marlborough. The palace, one of England's largest houses, was built between 1705 and circa 1724. UNESCO recognised the palace as a World Heritage Site in 1987.

The Wasserpalais is located directly on the Elbe and is part of the Pillnitz Castle on the outskirts of Dresden. Opposite, however, is the Bergpalais. The buildings are surrounded by a park with a maze. In between is the fantastically planted pleasure garden.
