Camellia sasanqua, also known as sasanqua camellia, is a species of camellia native to Japan. It is densely branched, evergreen shrub and has attractive, dark green foliage with its white to red, 6-8 petaled, mildly aromatic flowers which are in bloom from autumn to early winter (November to January).
