The statue's name is Alma Mater (nurturing mother), created in 1903 by noted artist Daniel Chester French.

Liverpool, Merseyside, United Kingdom - January 19, 2018: A bronze statue of former British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, 1st Earl of Beaconsfield (1804 - 1881) which is situated outside St. George's Hall in Liverpool City centre.  The statue, standing on a stone pedestal, is 3.35m in height by the artist Charles Bell Birch and dates back to 1883. Benjamin Disraeli was British Prime Minister between 1874 – 1880.

The tomb of Thomas Guy, the founder of Guy’s Hospital at London Bridge in South East London. The tomb is positioned just inside the inner door of Guy’s Hospital chapel. Thomas Guy (1644-1724) was an English merchant and politician who had become a governor of St Thomas’ Hospital in 1704. Being a considerable donor to the hospital and also extremely wealthy, he decided to build a new hospital “for incurables”. His tomb is marked by a life-size marble monument by John Bacon, which portrays Guy as a “living Samaritan” helping an invalid.
