Tain, United Kingdom - September 20, 2014: Glenmorangie distillery outside Tain in the Highland Region of Scotland. Unlike the Speyside distilleries located in mountainous areas, the Glenmorangie has its water supplies sourced from the surrounding farmland arounf Tarlogie Together with very tall stills, it imbues the whisky with a lighter taste. Recently bought by a French company, it has undergone a rebrand and is now positioned as an international luxury product. Its whiskies regularly rate at or near the top in all tasting competitions.
