Samples of processed glass waste for material development research.
Aspergillus fumigatus is one of the most common Aspergillus species to cause disease in individuals with an immunodeficiency. This pathogen primarily causes invasive infection in the lung.
The plant roots under the microscope
Squash preparation of onion root tip cells stained to reveal chromosomes, Bright field illumination, light microscopy. This image was taken with the X40 objective lens. Depth of focus is extremely low at this magnification. Smaller apertures give greater depth of focus, but image quality deteriorates and resolution is greatly reduced. The aperture in this image was optimised for contrast and resolution. Chromatic abberation is inevitable in light microscopy, but has been kept to a minimum in this image.
Fluorapatite under short wave UV. Specimen from Panasqueira Mines, Covilha, Castelo Branco, Portugal. photography isolated on black background. macro detail close-up rough raw unpolished
Bak Chang is called Zongzi as well. It is one of the popular dishes in Singapore. It is wrapped with bamboo leaf and the filling is various.\nI found blue pea Bak Chang one day. I couldn't help trying it. Blue pea has been popular for cake, tea, rice and more,,,, quite some time now. I had already tried most of them but it was my first try to taste the blue pea flavor of rice dumpling. The filling is ground meat.
Lillium Anther under Optical Microscope
A beautiful little mountain lake in turquoise color seen from above. The image was captured at an altitude of 2'200m in the swiss alps (canton of glarus)
Pinnularia diatom
Abstract Crystal background marble shot, nature pattern.
Artificial honey with large rectangular sugar crystals under microscope. Natural honey mixed with sugar syrup. Low pollen count.
Crystal ore, rose quartz for psychic energy.
Moderate triple phosphate with bacteria in urine analysis medical science education concept.
Aspergillus fumigatus is one of the most common Aspergillus species to cause disease in individuals with an immunodeficiency. This pathogen primarily causes invasive infection in the lung.
Uric acid crystal, Calcium oxalate dihydrate in urine sediment.
Photomicrograph of rotifer, probably Rotaria rotatoria. Rapidly rotating cilia at top of head, internal organs visible. Green circles are algae. Live specimen. Original image at 40X, wet mount, transmitted brightfield illumination. Indistinct image due to motion blur of live specimen and very shallow depth of field of brightfield illumination.
Background of mold in the wood of the house.
Thai style street food Thai style soup packing in plastic bag
Algae under microscopic view, Diatoms, phytoplankton, fossils, silica, golden yellow
Squash preparation of stained onion root tip cells showing various stages of mitosis. Differential interference contrast optics on a Leica microscope, Image taken with the X40 objective lens. Depth of focus is extremely shallow (just a few microns). Differential interference contrast results in an optical slice horizontally through the specimen providing maximum possible resolution at this magnification and good contrast. Chromatic abberation is inevitable in light microscopy, but has been kept to a minimum in this image.

Vegetable Pollen W.M. under light microscopy
Abstract rock surface with highly unstable macro shapes in brownish gray on a blurred black background
Photomicrograph of one celled amoeba. Live specimen. Wet mount, 40X objective, transmitted brightfield illumination.
Sharp turquoise emerald crystal highlighted from the bottom. Isolated on black
